Galvanized treatment

Galvanizing treatment enhances the corrosion resistance and aesthetics of screws and bolts by coating them with a layer of zinc. Galvanizing treatment is divided into two types: hot-dip galvanizing and electroplating galvanizing.

Hot dip galvanizing: Immerse screws and bolts in molten zinc solution, and form a thick layer of zinc through the reaction between the zinc solution and the surface of the screws and bolts. Suitable for outdoor environments and occasions with high requirements for service life.

Electrogalvanizing: Using the principle of electrolysis to deposit a layer of zinc on the surface of screws and bolts. The formed zinc layer is relatively thin, suitable for indoor environments and occasions with low service life requirements.

Enhanced corrosion resistance: Galvanizing treatment can significantly improve the corrosion resistance of screws and bolts.

Improve aesthetics: The surface of galvanized screws and bolts is smooth, with uniform color and a certain degree of decorative value.

limitations:

High cost: Especially for hot-dip galvanizing treatment, the cost is relatively high.

Environmental issues: During the galvanizing process, pollutants such as wastewater and exhaust gas may be generated, which need to be properly treated.
