It compensates for the tensile deformation of the chain under the action of tension and the expansion and contraction deformation caused by temperature differences. It ensures that there is a moderate tension between the driving device and the tensioning device. Generally, it is placed behind the transmission device at the place with the smallest tension. After tensioning, there should be no large downhill section with decreased load. Relying on the counterweight disk on this device, the tightness of the chain is automatically adjusted to ensure the normal operation of the driving device. The tensioning force is relatively stable and has a wide range of applications.
